Located in the heart of downtown Pleasanton, Hap’s Original is a classic New York-style steak and seafood house. We specialize in only the finest dry-aged cuts of beef as well as fresh seafood. We only use Midwestern corn-fed certified Angus Prime Beef. All of our beef is aged a minimum of 21-28 days in order to bring out its fullest flavors.
At Hap’s Original, we work with only one supplier. This allows us to maintain strict quality control while providing a consistent and superior product to our guests. Fresh and seasonal, seafood, lamb, and chicken are delivered daily from local Bay Area fishmongers, ranchers, and artisan producers. Our kitchen uses locally sourced produce and fresh ingredients.
All of our sauces and dressings are house-made daily. Hap’s Original prides itself on providing each one of our guests' seamless service and stellar cuisine.
Our award-winning wine list has over 300+ wines from around the world. Its primary focus is on the Napa Valley Region, California Centric wines with influences from Washington and Oregon, as well as classic French champagnes.
